Welcome to Mrs. Bolling's math and science class website. This website will enable students and parents to view assignments and happenings in sixth grade mathematics and science. I will update the assignments on a weekly basis but check the site often because some adjustments throughout the week may be needed.
Remember: You can always look at your assignments in your agenda books!

Sixth Grade Math

We are using the Holt Middle School Math series (http://www.hrw.com). The usual pace will be one lesson per day or two. Homework will be given three nights per week. These assignment will include:

* worksheets*

*exercises from the text book*

*Projects*

Quizzes will be given after select lessons and tests will be given at the conclusion of each chapter.

What's Happening In Science?

We are using the N.C. Science text book, Patterns and Cycles. Homework will usually be assigned three nights per week. These assignments will include:

*Labs*

*Projects*

Although tests will be open book it is imperative that students read the material to be fully prepared!

Tests 35%

Classwork/Labs 30%
